Camellia Net is a consortium of several Alabama public libraries that offers both downloadable ebooks and audiobooks. You can find fiction and nonfiction as well as language materials. Books can be downloaded to CDs, computers and MP3 players. These books are checked out to a user and return automatically.
Scarboro Photo Collection
The collection consists of over 15,000 photographic images taken and compiled by Robert (Bobby) Scarboro during his long career as one of Gadsden's most popular photographers. Currently, the library has digitized 4,300+ of the Scarboro images and these are available on the Gadsden Public Library's web site. The images can be searched by a particular name of an individual, by school group, by building or by event... among many other possible searches. Popular images include those of downtown Gadsden in the late 1800's and early 1900's, the Dwight Cotton Mill, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Plant and Republic Steel.

AVL The Alabama Virtual Library is a collection of educational databases provided by the Alabama Public Library Service. To access these databases from home you need a Virtual Library Card which can be easily obtained by calling the Gadsden Public Library.
